Accepting Baldness or Getting Treatment

This genetic baldness could start from your early thirties or it could even become evident in your late twenties. Very often you notice the onset very gradually when the hairline that has been covering your forehead for so long shows signs of thinning and you can start seeing your crown area more and more. If you do begin feeling conscious and uncomfortable about your hair thinning, you could opt to get treatment for your baldness right in the early stages itself, while it may still be reversible. However, if you are the kind of person who does not let loss of hair interfere with your enjoyment of life, then just let it be.
Anybody who feels hassled when other people comment on their looks or upcoming baldness or is concerned that their wife or girlfriend may not accept them as they are is definitely suffering from low self-esteem. Many men mistakenly feel that it is their hair that acts as a magnet and attracts women to them. While it is not entirely wrong to think along those lines, it certainly does not mean that one should get stuck in a depression just because of the onset of baldness. If you are one of those who cannot get out of your depressive state, then you should consider consulting a doctor or counselor who would be able to help you out and give you proper advice. Including an abundance of vitamin A and E as well as plenty of proteins in your diet can also help control hair loss.
It takes a very high level of self-esteem and plenty of courage to completely accept your baldness. It could happen that some people lose their hair and go bald because of some illness or maybe some medication that are on or treatment they are undergoing have had an adverse effect. Some people lose their hair because of some fungal infection or other similar infection. There is absolutely no point in losing sleep or feeling low about your hair loss if you find that it does not affect your everyday life. Hair loss is unlike losing some other body part.
Imagine what it would be like if you had lost or broken your teeth. Now that would have adversely affected how you ate. But losing hair does not hinder you in any way. You can still do the same things with or without hair. It is all a question of handling it properly and not feeling low and depressed about it. Stressing about it only exacerbates its adverse effects and makes it worse. Stop thinking about your baldness and very soon you will notice that others have stopped noticing it too.
